Hello all!

Have just seen a few job advertisements from Sumikin Intercom, Inc. and wonder if anyone here has had any experience with them, or working for them.

Thanks!

I don't know if the OP is still looking for info or what kind of specific details s/he is looking for. I wouldn't go into too much detail in a public post.

The particular position would have been for working onsite at a manufacturing facility (I think in Tohoku, but I don't remember now) teaching workers, managers, and executives. I interviewed with a native English speaker.

At that time they were hiring for a couple of locations and I think the one I interviewed for was for the more isolated, probably less desirable one. I looked up the area on Google Earth and it was essentially an industrial complex in the middle of nowhere. It's a good idea to get specifics about the location you're interviewing for.

I guess it's one of the very few places that offers positions teaching adults (that's not a college or university), so the advantages might outweigh the disadvantages even for that position for many people.

I was a relatively new MATESOL graduate at the time and after the interview I decided it wasn't for me, which was fine because they didn't offer it to me (though they suggested applying again in the future).

Smile
