I am thinking of applying for jobs in Riyadh and Dammam. If I were fortunate enough to get one, would it be practical/possible to travel to Dubai as I have friends there. Does Iqama visa allow one to go to another GCC country and return ? |

If you have a residence permit (AKA iqama), you'd need an employer-authorized, exit/reentry visa in order to leave for Dubai or wherever, and subsequently, to return to the Kingdom. (Multiple exit/reentry visas are available.) However, if you're on any type of renewable visit visa (e.g., business/work visit visa...), your visa would have to specify it's exit/reentry; otherwise, once you're out, you're out. |
