OK... I was in a bad mood.
Life has been pretty good as of late. I`ve come to an understanding with Gunma, and Gunma has come to understand me. We get along well, life is fun, genki, and rare is the day you won`t find the V3K rollicking with laughter, at some point.
That said, we all have those moments where we are susceptible to the inevitable low ebbs of life.
What am I saying, I dunno...I was just in a bad mood.
And so...y`know those little boys on their 50 cc minibikes that drive around without mufflers? Some told me they were Yakuza wannabes (uh..ok), others told me how dangerous they were (lol!), anyway...
Let me say that I like them, 99.99 % of the time. They amuse me, and if their only act of rebellion in life will ever be going through a red light, so be it. We all have to start somewhere.
But the other day, I was just in a bad mood.
I will spare the details, but...legally speaking, I am allowed to run them over if I have right of way, yes?
Cheers!

Those would be the bosozoku, I think. And you have my sympathies for having to put up with them.
They're kids that drive around on bikes, often idling along and reving their engines. In my old city of Nagoya, they'd drive through my neighborhood at around 2am many nights. There would be quite a few - dozens or so.
For various reasons that I can't remember (and therefore were probably not very convincing) the cops don't do much about them.
Hitting one of them with your car is proably illegal. I had to learn to put up with them, and I'm not sure if you're going to fare any better. |

How about a well placed shot from a BB gun as they pass by in the early morning? |

LOL!
Thanks guys, I thought I was just being a little sensitive that day...but maybe they really are annoying.
Hmm...can I buy high powered pellet guns in Japan?
Actually, I`m quite serious. I`d need something with good range, preferrably with a scope.
Best,
V.
(Hey, this might be fun. I could even dress in camo, track their movements, set up ambushes, get right into a sort of urban warfare mindset. Maybe I could film it, and do a bit of a documentary...what do you guys think? I can see it now:

I saw all kinds of weapons in a store in Den Den Town in Osaka. You'd have no problem picking them off with their stuff.
Be careful of recording it, just look at the "Liberation soldiers" in Iraq. |

Too funny Shmooj. I always thought of using fishing line myself. |

I remember them vividly... damn dinky skooters reving the engines at 3AM... I actually thought about tossing urine filled ballons on them from my second floor window... |
