Is anyone familiar with Web International in Jiangyin?
They pay 8000 p/m but only 7000 for the first months (probation) its a lower salary than other Web schools but they provide an apartment. I'll admit that this is a big draw for me as I really don't like looking for accommodation abroad - a few bad experiences!
I'd love to hear from anyone who knows of the school, directly or indirectly, and also the area.
Thanks! |

I worked there for close to 2 years which is the longest I know anybody worked there. You are treated pretty well and pay is on time and such. They are a bit cheap though the owner is extremely rich due to her father. I mean extremely even by Chinese big boss standards. Oddly not a lot of tutoring opportunities unless you look hard. The thing I hated was that more and more kids started coming and the adults all left. Then it was crazy with kids but now that other kids schools have opened in Jiangyin sort of slow (save the summer); but that is better. The city is smaller but rich so some things to do but certainly not Shanghai or such. Great location to Nanjing, Yangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Shanghai etc. |
