Dear PeterParvo,

Or, even worse, between two Airbus A380s:

Boeing 747-8: 467 passengers, in a three-class configuration

Airbus A380: 525 passengers, in a three-class configuration

Very Happy

Regards,
John

Is there another country in the world except Saudi Arabia where one can have a six hour wait for a connecting flight and almost miss it?

Yes YOU are not alone, so what about all the rest of the passengers....?
Will they not have to endure the same situation you mention???
I understand that this discussion is meant to be lighthearted? Nonetheless, buck up fellow human beings, you are not alone...millions of people have to endure the same crap at airports..."you" are not special. Laughing

errr... cmp... I didn't see any suggestion that only "he" was inconvenienced by this situation... only that it was a ghastly situation... presumably for all. Cool

Add to the fun... let's say that one is a female... and both of the other planes were from the sub-continent filled with mostly male construction worker types.

hmmmn... Laughing I infer the 'you' as plural and perhaps I should have said 'we' are not special.

As humans we are all unique and therefore special; but if everyone is special then special is no longer ...well...special!
.... But that never stopped people from being conned by their own ego into thinking they were.
anyways I'm sure nobody takes my armchair philosophy too seriously...continue sharing your antedotes... Surprised
I like to read them too.

If she is single by the time she leaves the airport she'll be married or at least engaged. If she is married and travelling alone, god help her.

This happened to me more than a few times in both the UAE and Oman. It was a very uncomfortable wait getting through the customs/visa lines. Not that they will bother you in any dangerous way... but there is no cultural taboo in that part of the world against staring.
