Please, please, please. Come on guys. We're supposed to be English teachers!
Can't you spell "definitely" the way it should be spelt and not as above. There's a little book you can acquaint yourself with. It's called a dictionary. Tells you how to spell words in your own language. Try it!!! |

I have a distinct lack of education. I only sompleted the second term of year 10 in High School back in Australia in the dark ages, but I have noticed how a lot of young "very well educated" people on this forum cannot spell fairly ordinary words.
I shuddered when I saw "salery" by one poster.
I do not know how to use "spell check" on the computer and do not think I need to learn how to use it.
Back when I was taught English, more emphasis was placed on correct spelling of words than it obviously is now. |

| I will echo the fact that I know I am DEFINITELY not a perfect speller either (and I'm sure my grammar doesn't always shine too brightly), but I do like to go back over my posting before I hit the "submit" button. I generally catch most of my mistakes. I know some that post here have a lot of thoughts in their heads that they are trying to get out quickly so I know mistakes can be made. But there are some truly frightening English breaches in some of these posts!!!! |
