Having been a recruiter myself, as well as a job seeker in China I would put seriousteachers.com at the top of my list.
As a job seeker it is free and the alerts and search features make it user-friendly. Bit of an effort to load your bits and pieces, especially if you don't already have scanned copies of certification, but once that's done the process is very simple. |

Serious teachers is good, but I always use Dave's ESL Cafe. There are other websites (some which are designed and made strictly by recruiters) but they pale in comparison.
Any website that offers a free listing of positions without having to register is OK in my book, unless you want piles of spam sent to your in-box for jobs all over the place. Even places you have no intention of going to. |

I have no objection to a site wishing to monetise its activities.
A registration site like serious teachers sells itself to advertisers based on its page traffic.
The fact that it gets results and is FREE to teachers is what matters. |

www.echinacities.com has lots of jobs, broken out by city. You have to sift through the garbage to find the jobs worth pursuing, but there definitely are some. |

So really, this is a thread of people helping you find a job instead of you doing it yourself?
Google is all you need. |

So really, this is a post criticizing others instead of being pro-active and helpful?
Manners are all one needs. |

You do realise this forum is titled 'China (Job-related..)'.
If someone wants the distilled knowledge of experienced ESL/China hands about the best job search sites then this is the place. |
