As the title suggests I'm looking for good resources, web or hard copy. If you have used or know any worth the while, I'd like to get my eyes or hands on them.

Thanks!

Technically-Write! Communicationg in a Technological Era, 4th ed. by Ron S Blicq, Prentice Hall This is about 10 years old now but there must be a new edition.

English in Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Eric H Glendinning, OUP, part of their English Focus series. Also pretty old!

A Study Skills Handbook, Mike and Glenda Smith, OUP, 1994

We use a similar book. I believe the name of it is Oxford English for Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and it's also by the Glendinning brothers (can't recall the other brother's name and I don't have the book handy). It's a great book for technical English courses - it's very basic and contains a lot of language exercises related to engineering concepts. The only caveat is that it only covers basic writing skills (linking, definitions, short paragraphs), so it may not be suitable if your students need to learn how to compose lengthy technical documents in English.
