|
|
I came to China on an L visa, then received the Z visa from my employer. I'll be leaving this job soon and I'm wondering if, since this Z visa is tied to this company, would I have to leave the country immediately after quitting to re-set back to my L visa? Is there some kind of grace period that allows me to stay in the country to find some other work?
Thanks |

If you've been in CHina more than 30 days you no longer have a valid Z visa. What do you have in your passport right now that replaced that? |

Huh? Sorry, I don't understand.
I was in China on an L visa for 20 days, and then converted to a Z visa for 2 months. |

Your situation sounds a bit odd. A Z visa is normally only valid for 30 days after you enter the country and then you hand over your passport to have a residence permit placed inside. The residence permit looks similar to the visa but with different details, and it replaces the Z visa for the rest of your stay. |
