I am interested in the intersection of ESL and dyslexia, and secondarily in providing dyslexia services in countries that do not recognise or treat learning disabilities in their school systems. There is an older thread about dyslexia, but it devolved a bit, so I decided to start this new one.

I showed the film Taare zameen paar to a child with reading difficulties, who gasped at this sequence, especially at 5:28 - 6:00, and said, That's what I see:
