Hello,
I am looking for work in Harbin and haven't seen much in the way of ESL institutes in Harbin. There seem to be a elementary school offerings but I would prefer adults, or at least older children. If anyone knows of any leads, it's be much appreciated.

it's a easy to get a job in a Harbin, and they're is a lot's of a adults' schools were you can find an good job teaching english.

I am going to study Chinese part-time and will have a student visa, so I am a bit worried about transitioning from a student visa to a work visa. I've been away from China for 6 years and from what I understand things are quite different now. |

you will not be able to get a work visa if you're only working part-time.
and if you enter china on a student visa, you will have to go to hong kong or some other territory outside of the mainland in order to have your visa switched over. it cannot be done domestically.
that said, you can find work here on a student visa, part-time and full-time. send me a PM if you want to know some more about the schools here in harbin. |
