I've been here a week now and have finally settled in. Concerning my previous thread on questions about laundry, driving, etc., I did negotiate a deal with a local laundry so have that box checked off. I also received my rental car and have shook off the initial jitters of driving in this madcap traffic! My first impression of the people is very positive--more outgoing than the Japanese and less controlling than the Koreans. I haven't seen any expats, are there many here, I wonder?
