Salary Range (per month) NT $47,000 -- NT $90,000 / month
*Salaries here are completely tax-exempt! (read the fine print below)
Any teacher employed by a bu-shi-ban business or senior high schools owes between 13 and 20 % in income taxes. However under current Taiwan tax law, K-9 schools are in a different classification altogether. Our teachers do not have to pay anything out of their salary to the government. This means that a NT $55,000/month income at our school is the equivalent of a NT $65,000/month income at the aforementioned taxed schools. |

Up to 8 Weeks Paid Vacation
The advantage of working for a real school rather than an educational business is that the students take summer and winter breaks.
So that means 2 months of free time for you that are paid just as though you were working. Its up to you decide whether you want to take the time to travel, visit home, or stick around for summer school and make even more.
o Tax Exempt Status
Any teacher employed by a bu-shi-ban business owes between 13 and 20 % in income taxes. However under current Taiwan tax law, K-9 schools are classified differently. Our teachers do not have to pay anything out of their salary to the government.
This means that a NT $55,000/month income at our school is the equivalent of a NT $65,000/month income at the aforementioned taxed schools.
o 1 Round-Trip Airplane Ticket Home
Upon completion of your contract, you will be awarded a travel stipend equal to the market price of a trip back home.
o 4 Sizable Bonuses throughout the year
o Health Insurance
You qualify for National Health Insurance after four months of employment. The school will apply on your behalf. Medical expenses in Taiwan are next to nothing anyway but with the insurance coverage, youre spending only NT $150 per visit (thats less than $5 US!)
o Temporary housing
We will put you in touch with a trusted real estate agency. You should find a suitable apartment rather quickly. In the event, you cannot secure one, we will provide you a temporary place to stay for up to 1 month while you continue to search for satisfactory accommodations. |
