It seems mid-Autumn Festival and Chinese National Day fall back-to-back this year. Sunday, September 30th for the former and Mon-Tues-Wed, October 1-2-3 for the latter. So, to make it a "golden week" + 1, our switch-around dates would be October 4-5? But actually, since mid-Autumn Festival falls on a Sunday, technically we would have the Friday before off if it were to fall on any other weekend, yes? (or maybe the Monday afterward) So wouldn't October 4 be that "Friday"? It seems to me, many of us will have to work Saturday, September 29th to make up for October 5th. Who wants to bet they are going to try and stick us with Saturday, October 13th as well?

Is my logic off? Am I missing something?

I think that Saturday September 29 will be a make-up day for Friday October 5. At least I hope so; I don't have any classes on Fridays so I'll have nothing to make up on the Saturday.

In my school, I don't find out anything until I show up for class, only to find out that classes are canceled, or when the class monitor calls me (a week after I ask about schedules) and says "The make up day is today. We're in class waiting for you. Where are you?"
