Just trying to educate myself as much as possible before arrival to Saudi. Is there a Saudi expat forum for folks with apartments, used cars, bikes etc. community iformation that people in the Dhahran, Al Khobar and Dammam area all use? It's all new to me and am hoping to find decent housing in this area. The one PM I received told me that my housing allowance wouldn't be enough to live on a compound if that's actually necessary. Do people split 2,3,4 bdm places over there? Is there a general price range for a modest, but clean and liveable 1bdm apt/ condo? Is it easy to get those Chinese made wonder bikes that can support a house on like they had in Oman? 40 bucks and you couldn't beat them, at one with the subcontinentals on the streets. Any positive, productive responses would be much appreciated. |

For items for sale, try
www.expatriates.com
www.eharaj.com
Search on google for more sites. Also www.internations.org
About bikes supporting a house, I have no clue what that means. Do you mean you want to buy a bike and build a shack on it to live inside it in case your housing allowance gets you nothing? |
