In the great American tradition of always searching for my next job, I could really use some advice on how to do that here. Where I am now is a bit slow and remote for my liking and I'd like to work in a bigger city. Tianjin and Harbin are 2 places that interest me. The question I have is how to search for a job in those cities for next year?
I currently work for a uni and I may want to do the same next year. The work load is light, responsibilities are few, and there is time for outside work. My flat is also to die for - way better than what I left behind in the States.
Anyone got suggestions on how to search now for a position next September?
Thanks.

Hey DG!
1. Write down all the provinces or cities that you would prefer to work (I see you have Tianjin and Harbin) .
2. Write down all the names of the universities that are located there.
3. Do a thorough search about those universities on Dave's and/or elsewhere. Find out if they are to your liking.
4. For those that you like get their contact information and then just write to them.
I already wrote quite a few just in the past week. Not many responses but I figure with the holiday upon us I shouldn't expect much. Several did write back to me but they said that I should wait to apply next March/April.

It's never been any easier than it is right now. |

Do I just write to them in English and hope someone understands? What about wording my request? Direct American style or another way?
Thanks.

I went to the website of the school and usually they have a section about employment. Whatever email was there I just sent my resume. |
