Hello!
I'm an American who will be graduating in a few weeks and I was offered a contract to teach at the E900 school in Qingdao starting in June. I realize private schools can be a little shady and am wondering if anyone has any info about E900. I am anxious to get over to China and am not very picky about living and working conditions, but I figure I should try to get an idea of what I'm getting into. Also, any comments on Qingdao would be greatly appreciated (e.g. cost of living, general treatment of foreigners by the people there, languages spoken, etc.). I was thinking I would rather go to Beijing, but what I've heard about Qingdao sounds good so far. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Kevin

I don't know E900 personally, but I have seen dozens of their adverts. There hasn't been bad feedback in the Job Info section, to my knowledge, either.
Qingdao is a nice place - very pleasant climate, very impressive colonial cityscape in the heart of the city, and it appears to be a wealthy place.
It certainly is more attractive than many bigger places! |
