loudspeakers near stations in the mornings: this exception for noise is really painful to our ears. I have started walking by and gesturing to turn down the volume and pointing to my ears..

perverted girls dressing like perverts: its the actual truth. the girls are the perverts for dressing like, uh, sluts and in the winter. I love it but its always us that are the perverts for looking? nope. not anymore. I call the girls the perverts and have brought this up with my japanese friends...

granted these minor things, I can get used to things here. the xenophobia/racism here has peaked as one of my friends was choked on a crowded night train by some random guy be brushed up on while walking in the isle.. lots of other lesser examples but in the states, this could all happen (and worse) so its a wash..

married doods complaining about their married lives.. dont marry them! playboy it up until you are really old.. not a japan thing I suppose.. frankly, these women are really dry and boring when they are single. what did you expect?!

This. I noticed this as well during my time in Japan. I could never wrap my head around it either and I never got used to it.

Warm regards,
