it's huge.
it's possibly the most dirty air on earth
it's freezing cold in winter.
it's hot as hell in summer.
it floods randomly.

mozilla/firefox with the adblock add-on will let you block individual images.

as for life in beijing, it has several criterion : undergo metabolism, maintain homeostasis, possess a capacity to grow, respond to stimuli, reproduce and, through natural selection, adapt to the environment in successive generations. mostly made of nucleic acids, proteins and lipids .
