Is it just me, or has the General Discussion forum been extremely inactive lately? What's going on? Perhaps people are on vacation and traveling for the summer? Maybe the great Dave's blackout of 2004 scared people away? Inquiring minds want to know!

Cheers,
Kirk

I'd just like to protest at the amount of negative posts, recently, especially on the China off-topic forum. Is it end of year blues? My contract ends in September, with no holidays. I read the posts (but I'm NOT an addict like you saddo's), then go to school already hating my students. Not that I particularly love them, anyway... Rolling Eyes

For many it is the summer recess. I am now off till September.

Three good reasons to become a teacher: summer, Easter, and Christmas.

Haha! The first light - hearted post I've ever read from you, Ludwig! Truly, you must be grateful for the end of the Spring term.

End of year blues.
Setting and marking exams, collating and presenting results. Parent's evenings. The endless round of 'farewell, we're out of here' parties organising the stacks of books and stuff that you have 'inherited'.
small wonder no-one is posting.
Looks like we will have to start posting crossword clues again.

1) Segg- breakfast. (9, 4)
