Hello. I am interested in working on an oil rig teaching English. I was wondering if anyone has worked on before and could give me feedback. Also where can I find openings and what is required to get such a job? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, you should post your questions in the general Mid East forum if that's your target region. Best to also include your qualifications (degree & major; TEFL cert; relevant experience). |

Thanks. Doesn't have to the Middle East but that was the only place I could think of that did oil rigs outside the US. My friend is actually looking for the job.
Qualifications are:
Bachelors and Master's in Engineering.
4 years teaching at the University level and 2 years teaching English aboard |

In the Gulf there are oil rigs but I am not awre of any jobs on the rigs teaching English. English training usually takes place onshore.
I believe there may be some in Equatorial Guinea. Do a search on the "Africa" Forum here. |
