We have a full pale moon (well, full minus one day) over the Great Lakes of North America, about forty degrees above the horizon, South South-East at 11.20 pm Central Time.

We had a lunar eclipse a while back. Party atmosphere in the streets, everybody wandering around and looking for the best spot to see it. Then the moon came up, seemed a little redder than usual but hey, harvest moon and all that. Hmm, wonder when the eclipse starts? Moon got higher and higher, still red. People mostly wandered off home. Then suddenly a little piece of brilliant white opened up on it and started to grow and us few die-hards (Ok, I wandered off and then just happened back by because nothing was going on at my friends house) realized how dark it had been before. Really made us appreciate how amazingly bright the moon is.
I love the moon. |

What was theat word for people afected by or in love with the moon ?
(Clue : 7 letters starting with "lu-" and ending in "-natic".
I agree that the moon is startling. But I am glad I live on Terra. |
