| Does anyone have any idea (preferably direct experience) of how long the background and other checks take to complete for Aramco or Aramco contractors (done in the UK)? |

The whole process took about 6 weeks for me. I was interviewed on the 16th of February, had medical on the 22nd of March and had my visa in hand and was ready to travel on the 10th of April.
This would have been quicker by about two weeks but for two delays of my own making: I applied for a new passport immediately after I'd landed the job, and I used it to visit a relative in Portugal before handing it over to get the visa stamped in it.
I've heard of others whose process took months though. By all accounts, my process was pretty rapid. That was with Al Hoty who have their finger very much on the pulse. |

| "Time frames" do not exist in the Orient, just as in the world of felines there is no algebra. (That is NOT a dig at VS or other catlovers.) |
