Hi has anybody worked with a placement company that has two names. One is IEHR and the other is Global-ERS. The owner of it is named Randall Butler and he lives in Vancouver. He worked with a woman named Monica Gomez. I just started to work with them and they seem very professional. Any comments would be good. |

I contacted them both. I was asked to submit a CV, a cover letter, and to fill out an application form. I did so about a month ago and haven't heard any further, despite my sending some follow-up emails.
Sniff-sniff. I guess they just didn't like me. |

I don't think it is a question of signing on with Global HRS, but rather a question of signing on with a school you will be happy teaching at. Have they found you a specific position?
Is650 - I spoke to Randall Butler on the phone a while back. He told me none of the Mexican schools in his system are keen on hiring a teacher from a third country. Since you are in Jakarta (right?) this may be the reason you have not heard from them. In any event, I know of at least 3 teachers who have gotten jobs in Mexico while they were living outside the U.S. or Canada. Just keep looking! |
