There's a lesson to be learned here I'm sure, although it does seem like old-fashioned common sense: more effort for more reward.

It reminds me of some other recent research which found that hand-written messages are more likely to be remembered than e-mails, as the brain has to work harder to recognise the handwriting. Likewise 'simple' fonts like Arial and Tahoma, are [i]too [/i]simple - requiring little brain activity to read, the information seems to slip away. |
