I noticed that PJ and his motley crew are advertising yet again on this very respected website.

Is it just me, or does anyone ever wonder why the self designated "director", PJ is continually recruiting? Is it because the teachers he recruits are useless or is it a way of justifying his own and the other Canadian "assistant directors" existence in a well paid job for basically doing nothing? It could be a combination of both... Oh, and of course the little Brit.Oh, and there's the housing manager who spells "grammer" and WILL hold back 2000 SAR from your last pay check for any property damage (not in the contract).

They have had it cushy for too long! You guys who are there now should select your own new leader. After all, that's how PJ became king of the castle isn't it?

Happy New Year!

Shabaka is the quintessence of a cowboy operation. The servile individuals you mentioned are there because of their adulation of the fraternal hockey players who run the place. Recruitment is constant because of high turnover, and the high turnover is caused by egregious errors on the part of the administration. Employees there are at the mercy of a capricious manager.

It's no surprise things haven't changed there.

"Management" leaving early for breaks with no explanation. Keep an eye out for this one Smile
Sub-managers having to do all the work, because again, "management" despite spending most of the day in an office, can't seem to achieve anything of value.
Sub-managers and Team Leaders covering for "management" as they head off down the causeway because they can't possibly spend another minute in the Kingdom, or with workers. However, the "management" do take their laptops with them so they can work furiously hard in Bahrain....lol
"Management" blackballing people for having opinions that differ from their own.
Not forgetting "Management's" inability to remember what he said, agreed or wrote in e-mails.

Hopefully, with time, more and more newer teachers will read the countless posts (from a variety of teachers) and realize that there are far better places out there to work.
