I was just offered consideration for this school, and they're only giving me till Thursday to decide. Does anyone know anything about it?
The note says "shared housing".. I'm going to ask about that, but I'm assuming it means that I would have to have a roommate. Am I right? I don't want a roommate.
I will ask a bunch of questions, but I thought I would see if anyone knows about the school. |

I know it's a large corporation where you are paid from the home office and it's only 105 contracted teaching hours per month while many other hagwons are for 130 hours a month, not counting prep and other activities. That possibility of teaching 8 Saturday class hours for only 75,000 Won bonus just stinks, I would hope they don't actually do it like that. Teaching 3 hours one saturday per month for 75,000 bonus is OK, but not all that desirable.
I know YBM/Sisa publishes books and has commercial reputation in the Korea ESL market.
If any knows for all us on YBM being a quality place to work for or not, I too would like to know. |

I know this school pretty well. It's a pretty decent place. PM sent with my email address - give me a shout if you want any specific details. Oh and as far as I am aware you don't have to work any Saturdays. |
