Hello All
Tonight I have an interview with an Avalon School in Songpa. I actually think it is a new branch that will be opening in November as all the searches for Avalon Songpa have come up empty and they are hiring 12 teachers for the same branch, at the same time.

Ive done the search for Avalon in general and I have read everything Daves has to say about it, which isnt a WHOLE lot (maybe thats a good thing), Ive got my list of questions to ask, and my list of red flag contract items. What I would really like are some people to tell me about their own Avalon experiences, bad or good. I know schools vary by location but I would still feel better knowing what the majority of teachers who have actually worked at one think about it. Thanks in advance for any advice, Ive been turning down schools for months and this is the only one I have had even slightly good feelings about.

NS

I would be happy to address any questions you may have, if you want to pm me...but that would be just one person's take on the company.

People have had wildly different experiences depending on the campus they worked for and - more importantly - the head teacher/director they had.

I am also concerned that it may not do you much good since the company just started franchising and I believe the Songpa is going to be one of the first locations. Not too sure if the franchise conditions would end up being the same as the parent company locations.
