I did a search, but could not find...
Anyone have any recommendations for Korean language study in the Daegu area? I need some formal structure...can't seem to light the fire on my own. |

Yes, there are also a few hogwans (the one across from Thunderbird, for instance), that teach Korean to foreigners.
I can't remember which of the universities had more intensive programa as well, but a couple of them definitely are. |

There might be a school in Keungogae. Not far from Daegu Station and near Fatima Hospital. I remember seeing a sign before I left Korea in 2005. |

I went to the YMCA program this year. It was good and cheap. The teachers are sweet and you can meet lot's of other foriegners if you are new to the are.
But if I had known earlier last year that I was going to be here for two years I would have taken one of those intensive university courses. They are expensive (1.2 million for 6 weeks) but I know someone who went to the Keimyong one and he said it was well worth the money. So if you know you are going to stay a while do that one. |
