I checked out this new cafe tonight, it's really lovely! Definitely a nice change from the usual in Bucheon!
The decorating is warm and comfortable, with lots of color. Comfy seats and nice little tables with fresh flowers on them. Soft music playing, and soft lighting. It's definitely a nice place to sit and relax, which is exactly what they aimed for! They have a variety of English newspapers, magazines, novels, travel guides and children's books for you to peruse as you sit. They have a variety of appetizers, freshly made sandwiches, all day breakfast(pancakes, waffles, cereal and such) and daily menu items. We had the Irish Stew made with red wine and Guinness. It was hearty and very satisfying on this cold night.
They have a wine and beer list with many imported brands, as well as fruit juices, coffees and liquors.
We really enjoyed ourselves and the owners, Lia and Nicolas, were charming and helpful.
It was great to find such a nice place! Great for a date or a quiet evening with friends. Even better for a lonely lunch, you can immerse yourself in the free English reading materials!
Oh, and this Friday they are having a wine and cheese tasting event, starting around 8:30, you can find more details on their website.
