I am an ex-smoker, so the idea of getting 28 smokes worth of nicotine+ in a 1 shot bottle disgusts me. |

Read the label of your bottle of Bacchus a little more closely. You saw the 20mg of 니코티나미드 and got concerned.
Nicotinamide, however, is not another name for nicotine. It's another name for niacin, AKA vitamin B3, AKA nicotinic acid.
Niacin, also known as nicotinic acid or vitamin B3, is a water-soluble vitamin whose derivatives such as NADH, NAD, NAD+, and NADP play essential roles in energy metabolism in the living cell and DNA repair. The designation vitamin B3 also includes the amide form, nicotinamide or niacinamide, whose chemical formula is C6H6N2O. Severe lack of niacin causes the deficiency disease pellagra, wherein a mild deficiency slows down the metabolism decreasing cold tolerance. The recommended daily allowance of niacin is 2-12 mg a day for children, 14 mg a day for women, 16 mg a day for men, and 18 mg a day for pregnant or breast-feeding women.
At 20 mg per bottle it's a bit over the Recommended Daily Allowance, but it's not gonna kill ya. |

wow, that explains it. lol It did seem hard to believe at first if it were true then someone would have died from it.
sorry for the false alarm.

I'm sickened and angry that Koreans would allow so much nicotine to be put in their energy drinks. Don't they have any health standards??
This is why I constantly see people randomly collapsing and dying on the streets...It's the energy drinks! |

You don't have to worry too much about water-soluble vitamins, because excess amounts are typically excreted through urine.
You do have to be careful about fat-soluble vitamins, though, because, they remain in fatty tissue. |

Vitamin A is fat soluble. You can poison yourself by taking too much. But you also need it in you diet to protect your vision among other things!
Answers.com wrote: |
The current intake recommendations of vitamin A in the United States is 3 mg/day and about 1 mg/day in the European Union. |
Just eat a balanced diet and follow the health recommendation of your home country, like the Canada Food Guide. That's the best advice. |

Don't go without health insurance. First off, its unnecessary, and secondarily, if something serious happens to you you or your family will be in a lot of financial hot water.

Lol, honest mistake.
A and D are fat soliuble. Vitamin A is the only one I've heard of causing any major incidents. The evidence around dangerous levels of D is pretty inconclusive. A will kill you if you take significantly more that a few grams, this most commenly occures when someone eats the liver of a large carnivore, as this is where A is stored. If you were to consume 30 grams in one siting chance are you'd be done for. Not sure about others. |

Thats OK, no one will remember that tomorrow. Your fact is golden. Keep it safe. Bring it out for special occasions. No one will ever know you pretended to know it before you read it here. |
