|

I'm super tired, and have zero energy...this happened around this time last year in Korea. Is this from the yellow dust? My mouth is pasty and gritty, I"m getting 8hrs of sleep a night, but I'm still drained.
What should I do? |

I feel the same way. I sleep regularly. I excercise, I drink water regularly, I don't smoke. I feel exhausted. I almost fell asleep behind the weel this morning. I think it is the dust.
I went running on Saturday. I ran about 10k. I had no energy to do that. All day yesterday, drained. Right now, drained. Coffee makes me even more drained. Wait a few more weeks. |

Strange. I'm in a rural area & today I feel like crap. I'm usually very health and rarely get sick. I feel as if I'm coming down with something. It feels beyond draining. |

Yeah, I live in an area where the air quality sucks and I've been feeling run-down too. Some days are worse than others. I think part of the problem is the overall filth of Korea: people don't always wash their hands after dropping the kids off at the pool, and there's all the spitting and coughing and puking and garbage everywhere. Now and then I feel a little bit off in a way I never used to in the US. The dust is a big part of it but not all. Korea has more germs than a bioweapons lab. There's also the stress of living here and being gawked at and not understanding the language well. That takes a physical toll, as well. |

I think it's just the air quality...so sad that we are beginning to live in a world where clean air is not always available. Ask your grandparents about what they thought about bottled water when they were young, it's probably the same way we feel about sleeping with an oxygen tank.
Pathetic. |

Yes. I've been feeling the same way for a few days, zero energy, cough, itchy nose, and I live in a relatively clean area.
Yesterday I opened my window and the air coming in smelled just like car exhaust, and I thought, "is this 'clean' air?" I spent 20 minutes on the roof of my building, and as soon as I came inside my lungs and chest hurt. Today my voice is almost gone and I feel like caca.
I read another poster's rant about how clean the air is in Ko Samui. It's tempting in times of yellow dust, car exhaust, vomit, and cigarettes to drop everything and get on the first flight out of Incheon. |

Yellow dust can be the problem.
Also check for Mold and Mildew in the wall behind your bed. |

Jet lag? It usually messes with me for about a week. |

No this isnt' jet lag anymore, it's probably the crappy korean air. I felt like this same time last year....maybe if I rub kimchi all over my body that will cure it
