as far as i know its not but any info on when or if this may happen???
i think the brits are in the same situation.... |

NZers: NO Refund in any shape or form.
Aussies: will be able to get it back when their agreement starts in July 2008. Payment will also be paid retrospectively, i.e. for contracts completed before then.
(Not sure why NZ has such a no-go scheme, considering they 'usually' tag along with whatever Australia might be doing, or used to anyway). |

The pension refund for Australian's will be available from July 2008. Which is the date the Social Security agreement between Australia and South Korea comes into effect. It is retrospective in the sense that Australians who have finished working in Korea before that date will also be able to claim their refunds after that date ... So it is coming for Australians ... Full details are on the Australian Social Security website.
I don't know what the position is with New Zealand ... I know Britain has some sort of social security arrangements with Korea but I think it does not include the refunds ...
