Up to my pits in glitter after a week and a half of Christmas card making..

One of my co-workers announces that we will probably get sick and possibly die due to glitter inhalation.

He was being serious. I argued that it was mostly safer than breathing in the air in the classroom minus the glitter (our school is next to a stinky factory) and that these kids immune systems were inpenetratable considering they survive the school toilets.

He was also surprised I didn't know about 'glitter death'.

So, what do you think about glitter? Toxic? Lethal? Actually what is glitter Question

Translation problem. He was referring to death at the hands of Glitter, specifically this one:

Gary Glitter

I think glitter is aluminum(sp?) foil. Might give you old-timer's disease in years to come.

I think I heard somewhere that it can be dangerous if you inhale or ingest it.

Not that anyone is going to eat a whole tube of glitter (?)
