The only thing about the V43 that I still do not have answers for is whether it can sync with outlook.

I'm on the V/T43 bandwagon too. sure a bigger hard drive would be nice, as would a slightly more lightweight version. However for those two mild drawbacks there are more than enough advantages to make it a great little machine. I've had no regrets about buying mine whatsoever

Not sure what you mean. Explain how a PMP would do that?

Well, the ultimate convergence tool might happen. But not yet.

Do you want a video player with a screen worth watching? Or an MP3 player with a screen you have to squint at?

Well if it runs on an operating system, there is no reason why it can't sync with a scheduling/mail program on a PC.

The latest iStation and Blufin PMP allow this (they use Windows CE).

The Crative Vision Zen players all sync perfectly with outlook.

worth watching. this would be for the long commutes, plane rides, and downtime in school. I like watching dramas so it has to be a screen worth watching.

Then I'd say you need to look at PMP's with a 4X3 inch screen or bigger. The V43 is about right if you want a video player with a decent screen. It still fits in the pocket of your pants or jacket and you won't feel the screen is too small when watching video.
