The board was utterly disfunctional and at each other's throats.
They're still on the payroll though, by law, and the positions won't be filled again for two years, the next regular election for the board.
... that's barring a further decision by government.
Twelve of the thirteen board members are now suing. As a side note, I am thinking the one guy not suing is Korean. I believe the news said his name was Jin Yi. |

Well, he seems to be showing the only scrap of decency in the whole mess. I'd never heard his name mentioned with any of the troubles either, but there were financial problems, regular screaming arguments, and lately a big issue when two of the black members were accusing two of the white members of racism.
We moved back down here over a year ago and their hijinx have been in the press pretty much since then. |
