I think I've been cheated a bit in that when I asked for a 256mb graphics card, I got GEFORCE 7300 LE. From what I've seen on-line, it's not highl-rated at all. Any opinions? |

Looks like you got what you asked for, as 7300LE does have 256MB* memory on it. But you are right that 7300LE isn't a great performer... no matter how much memory it has.
What are you planning to do with your computer? If you want to play games you should return it and get something better instead. I'm about to upgrade my VGA and know that you can get a pretty good card around 200 000KRW. The fastest cards cost a lot more than that, though.
*128MB models do exist as well |

I think LE stands for Light Edition. |

You can play all the latest games with that card but you will have to go into the options of each game and turn the settings to low, or maybe medium. I'm talking about games released since around early 2005. You should be able to play games released before 2005 at medium-high settings.
Just use the "auto detect settings" function in the options of each game if you not sure about how all the settings match your card. |

64-bit bus, DDR1 memory...one has to wonder why they bothered. A true "budget" solution, but man... a great core with so many handicaps. |

If I can play Oblivion on a GeForce 6600, then you can most definitely use that card for most other games. Though, as previously mentionned, you will have to turn the settings down a bit. |
