Does anyone know of a good colorist somewhere in the Bundang area? If not, I'm willing to travel into Seoul. I've been growing my short hair out for 2 years now, and it's time to get it the color I want.

I have VERY fine hair, and of course I've read the stories of people coming out with pixie cuts (!) when all they wanted was a simple dye job. If anyone can suggest a place, I'd appreciate it. The colorist doesn't necessarily have to speak English, just be skilled with a foreigner's hair.

Well... I am one of the horror story experiences, and I happened to go to a well known salon that was recommened to me by more than one person. The hairdresser told me she had 7 years experience with foreigners as she was trained in London, bla bla bla.... I have thin hair as well, and I don't think any korean hairdresser can handle that lol

I'd honestly wait until you go home. Get the hair you've always dreamed of, instead of having to start from scratch again. That being said, I've seen nice color jobs out here. It's just a gamble you're making.

Maybe you could get together with some of the ladies on this thread:

It'll be worth the effort.
