I enjoy it and I'm curious to see if they can keep up the momentum in the new season. It's easy to write losing the doctor into the show and make it more interesting, but what about losing the companion?
So far Torchwood hasn't been quite as engaging as Doctor Who. For some reason it seems more fake than the original, and it's hard to seem faker than a show about a doctor who rides around the universe in a box. |

I watched it all the time when I was a teen. But I've been over here for the entire run of the new series, so I have yet to see it to pass judgment on it.
However, watching the cybermen/ dalek confrontation youtube, I couldn't help but notice the amount of smack-talk both seem to do now. |

I'm a Dr Who fan. Loved the days of the Rani and the Master. Haven't seen the new one yet...I've been prejudiced forever by Tom Baker. |

It's worth watching-some of the same cheesy effectwith robots and stuff, but the plots have improvedas well-I liked the first guy in the new series too bad they changed him |

My feeling with the new doctor who is "I'll take it". The second season doctor, isn't there some complaint he's too good looking? The Doctors have always been, well not ugly, but not traditionally cute or handsome men. They needed some personality to really carry them.
I don't like this Rose companion. Maybe I'm still stuck in a perpetual adolescent sexual phase but I liked Tegan and her exciting large jiggly fun bags, smart little stewardess uniform, and her short smart hair.

The inside of the new TARDIS is a bit too surreal. |

Loved it. Followed the new Dr Who avidly whilst in the UK and have seen the second series here. Thought I prefered the first Doctor but the second one I have gotten used to now and he has his own style. I wonder what the new companion will be like, I liked Billie Piper.
Has the third series started yet? |

I used to watch the old Doctor Who- best theme song ever. Unfortunately, I had a hard time understanding it, which is one of the reasons why I watched. I felt stupid, and I kept thinking that the more I watched, maybe intelligence would dawn on me |

Rose was a good character and the writers really dragged a lot of interesting drama into the series with her character and her family. If we met in real life she probably wouldn't give me the time of day, but that's no way to judge a fictional character.
The third series will start with another Christmas special, then we'll probably have to wait a month for the regular seasons when they'll introduce the new companion. She looks like she'll also be hot.

Yep, Tom Baker is to Dr Who what Sean Connery is (for many) to James Bond.
I can't get used to this new Dr Who flirting with his female companion...it's kind of like Jesus carrying on Mary Magdalene. How dare they try to sex him up like that! Not on! And his horrible Estuary Accent. How can he ever command respect the way Tom Baker did, without that wonderful deep rich RADA trained Shakespearean actor's voice!
Horrible. |

Strange thing is, he's from Scotland, the estuary is faked(not too hard to do, sit down watch the Eastenders omnibus and have a cupa'tea). In one episode set in Scotland the Doctor pretends to be Scottish.
I do love the title sequence, cybermen and Darleks. Especially when they went at each other.
Damn it. I want a Tardis! |

Yes, I know he's from Scotland. Why not fake a 'RADA' accent instead. Afterall, Baker was a Liverpudlian.
I must admit I also liked the cybermen episodes. |
