Slight lateral shaking for about four seconds.

Anyone else feel it?

Yes. Was about to post and ask the same thing.

Except there was nothing "slight" about it here (near Uijongbu) ...

I felt it. I'm about an hour east of Seoul. Scared the crap out of me because I had no clue what it was.

My beer ws near full (almost a centimeter from the lip), and rocked back and forth to the edge without spilling.

I felt it. I'm near Insadong. Nothing at the USGS site yet. You can check here:

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/Maps/region/Asia.php

It was gentle rocking, felt exactly like an earthquake to this native southern Californian. If it wasn't an earthquake, what was it?

The last time I experienced an earthquake was in Los Angeles about a year before the riots. I can't even remember what year that was right now (Jim Beam/coke) but I do remember it being much worse than what I just felt. I woke up that morning and it felt like someone had grabbed me by the shirt collar and was pulling me up in the air and dropping me to the floor from about a foot up...

Building shook enough that I was trying to decide whether it was more dangerous to stay put or to try to get out. Husband has never been in one over here before and asked what was going on about the time it stopped.

questions:

1. Was the epicenter in Korea? Does Korea even lie on a faultline? If not, did some place just get nailed with a huge one because Ive never felt an earthquake in Seoul, not even close to this.

2. Was it natural? i.e. DPRK nuke test?
