Does anyone know if there is a skating rink in Seoul? I know there is no snow and everything, but would love to go skating.
Thank you |

There is an outdoor rink at city hall now. (1000 won for an hour including skate rental)
HOWEVER, the blades on my skates were about as sharp as a beach ball. There was simply no edge . I felt really bad for my gf's niece who was skating for the first time on these dangerous skates.
It may have something to do with all the dumbasses walking on the concrete and stones outside of the rubberized walking/dressing areas . Christ some people are stupid!!!!! |

Might as well give a warning about Lotte too .
They only use 'figure skating' style skate with those goddamn picks at the front of the blades. Dangerous if you are used to skating with hockey skates .
They were blessed with the tiniest of edges compared with the ones at City Hall, but they still sucked really hard. |

Too bad Seoul has no roller skating rinks. Anyways, I wonder if Dongdaemun has roller skates? I miss roller skating. I lived on roller skates as a kid. Ice skating is so much fun, too. |

Not only that, but you're not even allowed to take your own hockey skates to Lotte World. Something about hockey skates being "...too dangerous".

Theres an outdoor ice-rink at Olympic park (Mongchontoseong subway stop). Its 1000 won for 2 hours of skating and thats including skate and helmet rental (yes, u have to wear a helmet). It should be open until the end of February. I prefer this one over the city hall one as its bigger and much less crowded. |

I went to a roller rink in Yeosu in 1996. Maybe it's still there...? |
