The picture shows two Solifugae together and the camel spiders are closer to the camera than the soldier's legs in the background making the animals seem larger. The max size is ten cm.

A six-legged Cambodian cow rests near the Cambodian city of Phnom Penh October 7, 2003. The two-month old animal, named Cham Leck which means 'strange,' was given to monks at a local pagoda by a farmer who feared the cow would bring him bad fortune.

Largest tarantula in the world, Theraphosa blondi or 'Goliath Birdeater'. If you imagine holding in front of you an old, vinyl LP record the spider is reaching the edges, all 'round, with the tips of its eight legs.

Another photo; http://homepage.ntlworld.com/the.tarantula.store/T.blondi.htm

An article, translated into English from Swedish (a few mistakes), about how to care for this spider as a pet, its personality, defence, etc.
