I often make the last post in threads, but I prefer to think of myself not as a "thread-killer" but rather as an ultimate "thread-enhancer" to the point where nothing more need be added ... Smile

Good to see you, RTeacher, it's been a while.
Still haven't gotten any numerical stats, though. ..

Most of my posts are thread killers. And, a lot of my posts are the first and last one in the topic. No one bothers to reply.

Is there a trick to counting? It seems like I'd have to go through all my posts, open up the thread, and see which threads end with me. Seems laborious. Any tips?

Use the search with your name as author.

When you see your name - you are the thread killer.

Shoot whatever you want, sez Atticus, but remember, it is a sin to kill a ...thread?

I'm probably the champ with 136 last posts (going back to July of 2005...)

All it means is, that when all that can be said on a topic has been, there's someone who will keep on posting after everyone else has lost interest.

It's just the desire to get the last word.

You better tag on one of these smiley things Smile when you make a statement like that, boy...

While that may sometimes be the case, with me I think that it's mostly a matter of my posting a lot - even on small threads. Another factor may be that many prejudiced folks try to avoid all my posts (knowing that Vedic philosophy - combined with my rambling style and corny jokes - can be too much to bear...)
