hey, I already seen this happen too at my school. In my first 2 weeks, the women dressed up in lots of purple and matching large rhinestones. Now they dress very boring and much more modestly. It means nothing I thought. Were they trying to impress the new teacher? Who knows. I do not understand their logic, yet.
Purple is very popular here in Korea. Heck, the mens clothing is prettier than the womens clothing as lots of purple and pink abound in the mens dept. They rolled out the first of the spring clothing 2 days ago and it sure is some very pretty looking long sleeve polo looking shirts in pink or purple or lime green. When I first got here, I really had to double check on what department I was looking at. LOL.
