i enjoyed the first season of rome so much that i decided to see what else hbo had to offer. so i stumbled on deadwood.
it's a great show, and i'm really enjoying it, but i'm starting to find it really difficult to keep track of. a lot of the politics i find confusing. for example, i'm having a hard time knowing which characters are interested in which territories annexing the camp, and why, and who is getting paid for what. it doesn't help that 90% of what anyone says on that show is said through innuendo.
mind you, whenever i do understand what someone is referring to, i love it. i was only able to find subtitles for the first four episodes of it, so my wife can't watch it with me. every now and again, she'll ask me what's going on, and i have to tell her that i'm not entirely sure.
a bunch of illiterate hillbilly psychopaths are making me feel dumb.
that said, i think my favorite character is e.b. farnham. but in a 'love to hate' kind of way. i was happy to see him get the crap beat out of him.
am i the only one having troulbe keeping track of all the goings on in this show?

well i just checked the dictionary, and it seems you're right. 'trouble' isn't spelled with the 'l' before the 'b'. i guess i'm pretty dumb.

but i'll propose an alternative hypothesis. it's possible that i do, in fact, know how to spell 'trouble', and that i made a typing mistake. and it's also possible that i didn't bother to go to the 'trouble' of scouring my post for those sorts of mistakes because i put a higher value to my time than someone who would go to such 'trouble' would put to his.

but hey... nice dig, man. i sure am red in the face after that one.

From your comment and your avatar, you're clearly a douche bag.

Deadwood is my favorite show. I hope that HBO reconsiders the show's cancellation and finishes the story with season 4, a movie, or both.
