If you have one of those magical visas, isn't it easy to pimp yourself out to more than one school.
Let me get this straight. A guy with an f-4 visa doesn't need permission to quit jobs, right?
Seems like a married guy could make a lot of cash. |

So you could pimp yourself to a hogwon on Moday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Then pimp yourself out to other schools on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You can basically negotiate your own rates.
Then you can have privates as long as you pay taxes on them.
What are you married guys waiting for? |

Nah, I'm not married.
But I know a few guys who are.
They do this, and are pretty comfortable from a financial point of view. |

| Well I'm married so my body's off-limits. I'm not pressing myself really hard to make money because other things are more important. |

You might be missing out.
Sounds potentially lucrative. |

Meh, wouldn't have time or energy for other things.
Those of us who are married are long-termers. It would be difficult to last in Korea for more than a year if you're working 80 hours a week. |

The other option to make some extra money would be dressing up in a sailor suit and calling otis. We know from previous experience he likes that kind of thing.
Not my thing though, I'm married. |

I guess the key is working smart instead of hard.
I had a boss who would pimp me out to apartment buildings.
The going rate was 100, 000 won for three hours a week. Most of these classes had about 4 children. That's good bread.
Of course, I never saw any of it. You're basically talking 1.6 million for three hours a week.
If you could pick up five apartment classes...that comes to roughly eight million won a month. |

| Yep, and I've turned down all the offers for private jobs I've gotten. Others haven't, but teaching is really not what I want to do for money. |

My days in Korea are finished.
But it could be lucrative. Sort of like working for yourself. |

I now teach about 40 hours per week.
It's not too bad. |
