Here's the live non-movie version by Loveholic. Way better.

That was like an audition on American Idol.
Painful...

Whoa... that was bad. And that's not singing, it's belting. There are some good belters out there, but she isn't one of them.

Slightly off-topic, does anyone know what that salamander goo song is about? It's a pop ballad sung by a guy. The chorus goes, "Sal-a-man-der GOO! Sal-a-man-der GOO! Sal-a-man-der goo, na na na naaaaaaaaaa na, sal-a-man-der GOO! Sal-a-man-der GOO, na na na na na aaaaaaaaaaaa..." Makes me chuckle every time I hear it (I'm sure it's something perfectly understandable in Korean, I just can't make it out).

Young Frankenstein
Sorry mate, I watched this and it just does not cut it. A little shrill and not near the grunt that Debbie Harry can give it. However, better than the mixed up Korean (worded) cover.

That was what I said. I said nothing about its comparison to Debbie Harry. I think we're all in agreement that there is no comparison.

It isn't even as good as the other Korean version and the Loveholic singer is far less pretty, but if you like 'em like that.

Sorry, not into cross-eyed chicks (the one from the movie, I mean, not the Loveholic singer).

Can I just say that this *pop* song is based on Gounod's composition, which in turn, was based on J.S. Bach's Prelude in C, composed in the 1700s? So it isn't really *modern* - just another variation is all Razz

Most all "modern" music is based on the classics.
