I know Svetlana probably hasn't read "How To Win Friends And Influence People" but I should point out that the constant references to "Russian Women in Korea = Hooker" are unfair, and carry as much significance and moral authority as "All White People Eat = Hamburgers and Pizza." I don't think Svetlana is actually a Russian woman, but it embarrasses me to see people acting in such a racist way. |

Or musicians, singers, dancers, acrobats, even teachers and investors. A lot of the Eastern European girls you see aren't even Russian, and would be annoyed by that assumption. I met a lot of girls from Everland who were Ukrainian, Moldovian, Belarussian, etc., etc. |

You are a moron. What ELSE are Russian women doing here? Certainly not teaching English or working with the Army or running the Aeroflot office. And "Russian" isn't a race you big idiot. "Slavic" is an ethnic group and "Russian" is a nationality. Open your eyes.
I love most of the Russian people I've met. I speak a decent bit of Russian. I've been to St. Petersburg and have DJed there. AND I'm an American. I'm not the least bit anti-Russian. I think what Svetlana needs is to meet few Americans other than the wormy, weird English teacher types or the soldier types. I've hung around Russian soldiers before, they are similar to American soldiers (i.e. young and immature, but dedicated to their jobs.) So judging America based on "George Bush" or English teachers or soldiers is to make assumptions based on incomplete information. Just like Judging Canada based on the music of the Bare Naked Ladies would be ridiculous.
And.. nearly every Russian woman in Korea is a prostitute. That's just a fact. It isn't racist, it's just reality. Svetlana is NOT a *beep* necessarily, it's likely that she is a wonderful girl that has a good time getting us Americans in a fit. Good fun! I can take the insults, but I can also give 'em right back!

Oy. Easy tiger. I'm not sure where I called you anything resembling a "moron" or a "big idiot" and instead of "racist," would you prefer "nationalist"? In fact, I didn't even address you directly. I just think it's a shame that a "girl" with a Russian sounding name is immediately called out as a prostitute. We don't even know if "she" is in Korea, and I'm quite sure you don't have the data to prove that "nearly every Russian woman in Korea is a prostitute." If you do, I'd be very interested to see it. As it stands, most of the Slavic women I've met have not been hookers. Neither am I supporting her ridiculous slurs against Americans, but I just don't think they're worth anyone's time. As another poster pointing out, they're just a lame plea for attention and I'm sorry to have spent more time on them than they deserve.
