Where is a good place to order cheap skate shoes online?

If it's in Korean it's ok, I got my students ordering it for me tomorrow at school if I can find a good pair of DC's, size 11, or korean size 300

Just go to the regular gmarket site and type in DC 운동화. There are several listings that have 5-6 different styles on one page.

Are Skate shoes really any more expensive in Korea than at home? In Taiwan some brands (circa, Dvs, vans, globe, ect) were half the price of shops at home, sometimes less. I bought three pair before I left.

size 11, or korean size 300

Korean size 300 is far larger than a US 11. I wear US 12, sometimes 13, and that's about Korean 300. I I couldn't even consider wearing a US 11, the 12's are tight. And, just go to Itaewon. You'll find all sorts of Vans and so on for pretty cheap.

Here's the deal, so listen up!

1) Itaewon--Tussa Skateshop (location already said). Lakai, Circa, Fallen. 70-100 thousand. Most models max out at 10 but they have some in 11

2) Itaewon shoe shops near Tussa--Kangaroo shop is just after on the left but they don't carry much new stock anymore. Before you come to Tussa, on the main street there is a shop that carries Es', Emerica, and DVS. It's a small narrow shop. Shoes will run you 35,000-40,000. This is my preferred shop. These shoes are factory backdoors...blackmarket shoes. They aren't fake.

3) Woohoochungsang--www.mddc.co.kr--in the underground shopping complex at Dongdaemun Stadium Stn. They carry IPATH and the European brand Aeon. Same prices as Tussa but more big sizes.

4) Corona Workshop in Hongdae. It's near Skunk Hell...go the university front gate and turn left...walk for a block or two. They carry good brands...etnies, fallen, emerica etc. Last time I was there they had all their bigger sizes marked down. I picked up a pair of etnies sal's size 11 for 40.

5) ABC mart--Vans shoes...decently priced and they almost always have size 11. Also, this is one of the only places in Korea that you can get real vans.

6) Online shops--Be careful of online shops such as Gmarket. Korea is flooded with fakes. The majority of Adio, DC, and Vans that you will see in the country are fake.

peace.

size 11 is a 290...300 and you're looking at a 11 1/2 or 12 depending ont he brand. ABC mart can do it on some models, Corona maybe, the Itaewon backdoor shops for sure!

Are you actually buying these shoes for skating or just hanging out in? Remember most vans won't last for more than a week of skating (except the Cardiel model...that shoe is a beast).

i got my dc's from ABC mart for 120,000won...expensive but they were the newest style/arrival. I think they have gone down in price a lot.

Vans are ok but tend to be not as comfortable as DC's

I dont live in Seoul, so I need to order them online. The shoes I have now have holes in the bottoms and my feet are getting wet, it's driving me crazy, I know if I order online I can have them in a day or two.

I wont be skating in them.

So my size is a 290, ok.

Guess I could've posted these earlier

http://www.mddc.co.kr

http://www.tussamall.com

http://www.coronaworkshop.com/coronashop

http://www.fourstarmall.com/FrontStore/iStartPage.phtml

http://www.riderzshop.co.kr

http://www.solstice.co.kr

The only one I've order from is solstice/kasina. good price, fast delivery, nice people. I've met a lot of the people from all these shops though and they're all good people deserving of your business. I can't say the same for gmarket and such other sites however.[/url]

I'm wondering, if you don't skate, why buy skate shoes?

I don't get it.
