Well, Full Metal Jacket and Apocalypse Now have proven to be quite the recruiting tools despite being antiwar movies (Kubrick and Coppola apparently didn't understand that most people who get recruited in the armed forces are too young and immature to interpret their movie the way it was meant to be). |

Say it isn't so! I'll admit, I was one of those who saw Full Metal Jacket,
ran out the next day, cut my long hair and visited recruiters. Misguided?  |
